Can you export the .ppk file from the Power Profiler app and upload that in a .zip file here so I can review the power profiler trace? My initial guess is that these spikes are either noise from the USB or the level shifters on the PPK2 having trouble getting filtered out, in which case these spikes can be discarded, and in which case they won't have anything to say for the average current consumption. With the .ppk file I can confirm whether this is the case or not.
