nRF9160 GNSS sample using A-GPS

Hello Team Nordic,

I am running a GNSS sample under SDK 1.9.0 and using modem firmware version 1.3.2.

I can get location without using A-GPS support but we get error when A-GPS support is used.

Please see the image below.

What could be the possible problem?

Hi Aakash,

1) Fail to get A-GPS data

Could you confirm if you have internet access through your LTE network? This can be tested with the default Assert Tracker V2 application.

2)GNSS operation blocked by LTE

This is as expected. LTE and GNSS can not work at the same time. GNSS can only work  in RRC idle mode or Power Saving Mode (PSM) when you enabled LTE connection when using the GNSS receiver. Please refer to the document Features of nRF91 Series — nRF Connect SDK 1.9.0 documentation (nordicsemi.com) GNSS part.

Thank you for your reply. I could not run asset tracker at the moment and seeking certificate provision support from another ticket.

Regarding internet access through LTE, I tried this GNSS sample using SUPL library and can get AGPS running. Does this mean I have a internet connectivity? 

Ideally, I would like to make AGPS work via NRF_CLOUD.
