SEGGER Embedded Studio peripheral registers

I have two Windows PC’s with an installation of SEGGER Embedded Studio on each and a nrf52832 project.

With the project and the library on a USB memory key running the debugger I can see the peripheral registers on one of the PC’s, but not the other. What can the difference in the two installations be?

The one not showing the registers has a fresh installation of Embedded Studio. Both are version 5.70a.

Hi 

I use this svd file, which is the same in both cases:

I cannot find any nRF support package for SEGGER version 5.7. However on the Pc which can show all the peripheral registers the are no packages install.

That assumes that your $(ProjectDir) has nrf52.svd file in it.

Do you have that at both PCs?

 

Could you try to point to it manually, as shown in my screenshot?

Hi Håkon,

Now I got it working, thank you.

I realized the Projects options did not inherit the Register Definition File from the Solution options. So, after updating the Project Options it now works.
