Hello, while I was examining the BMD-380 datasheet, a section of which I shared the picture below caught my attention. What does factory image mean? I want to implement Bluetooth application using BMD-380. Is Factory Image an important issue that I should pay attention to?

1. Looks like you need to download firmware and program it to the module.
2. You need to store the mac  to restore the Bluetooth address after performing an erase or recover.

I used Bmd-350 before. I was able to install and delete sample software via Embedded studio. Any mac process etc. I did not. Can't I still use the BMD-380 in the same way? Can you explain a little more?

Hello,

Many of third-party nRF5 modules will come pre-programmed with a bootloader and/or application (i.e. factory image) so you can test and potentially use the module without having to re-program it through the debug interface first.

You should be able to do the same with this module. Just make sure your project configurations targets the nRF52840 used by the BMD-380.
