nRFgo Studio and nRF51822

Hi,

I just watched a webinar from the bluetooth SIG on how to create source code from the nRFgo Studio for the nRF8001. Is the same possible for the nRF51822? To create a service, drag and drop some characteristics etc. etc. and to get that sourcecode output as a file?

No, this only works with the nRF8001, which uses a special setup format that must be loaded from the application controller to the nRF8001 on startup (or programmed in nRF8001's OTP).

The nRF51822 provides a much greater flexibility, and hence requires you to instead add services in code. If you haven't seen it already, this application note is a useful starting point for developing custom services.
