nRF5340 Evaluation Problem

Hi,

We are evaluating nRF5340 for our new product. We learned that nRF5340 can be used for LE Audio application. However, we want to know whether simultaneous BLE communication, such as with the nRF52 series SoC, is possible when RF5340 is operating in LE Audio Gateway mode?

Hello Alan Zhang,

Yes, you may do regular BLE communication alongside the LE Audio isochronous streams - the ACL's of LE Audio (Asynchronous Control Logic) uses non-isochronous BLE communication, for example.
The time available for the regular BLE communication will depend on your gateway configuration - i.e how many streams you are broadcasting, if you are using CIS or BIS, what quality your streams are, etc.
