Effect of cutting solder bridge for current measurement with nRF52833DK

Hi,

I would like to take current & power measurements of the nRF52833 SoC with the desired firmware file flashed to it. I am testing an application that uses the CPU temperature sensor and sends this data using BLE to a central device (Android nRF Connect app is used to read measurements). I would like to know measure the current / power when it is advertising and during connection with different TX powers: 0, 4, and 8 dBm.

I have read the nRF52833 DK user guide (attached below) and according to section 9.1, I need to cut the PCB track shorting solder bridge SB40 (which I can solder back afterwards). What are the repercussions of doing this? Will this have any effect on the temperature sensor and the normal operation of the board while it is operating as a peripheral and sending temp data to a central device?

Thanks,

Adam
