VDDH FALLS BELOW 2.5 THAT IS 2.5 -5.5 IS HIGH VOLTAGE MODE WILL IT ENTER NORMAL MODE

Hello my question is I am giving supply with lithium 18650 battery whic voltage is 3.7 to 4.2 volt but the battery falls very much below .

My question is when using HIGH VOLTAGE MODE its range is 2.5-5.5V. what will happen when  voltage falls below 2.5 volts ? what voltage will I get on VDD.?

Hi,

The lowest value for the high voltage mode is expected to be 2.5 V. Power ON reset happens if the voltage is equal or goes below 1.75 V. If you allow voltage to drop below 2.5 V, you are getting out of specification. You cannot expect full functionality of the device which operates below 2.5 V.

hey thank you so much for your answer i want to confirm one thing more nrf52833  runs on all voltage between (2.5 to 5.5 in case in high voltage mode) or it has to run on a typical voltage? basically from 1.8 to 5.5 it will run on all voltages right?

Hi,

You should choose which mode you want to use, normal or high voltage mode. If you are in high voltage mode, operating voltage is in the range 2.5 V - 5.5 V. All voltages in this range are allowed. If you want to use voltage lower than 2.5 V, you should switch from high voltage mode to normal mode.
