Debugging with VSCode failing after nRF Connect SDK update to version 2.0.2

Hi,

like mentioned in the caption, i have updated the nRF Connect SDK version from 2.0.0 to 2.0.2 and noticed, that the debugging does not longer work as expected and before.

So I've verified the debugging again with a hello_world sample on version 2.0.0 and debugging works fine.

The Visual Studio Code issue saying:

GDB could not start as expected. Bad installation on version mismatch. See if you can start gdb from a shell prompt and check its version (Must be >= 9)

But gdb version 9.2 was found before.

Do you maybe have any thoughts about this issue? Thanks a lot!

I noticed, that there is now an update for the "Cortex-Debug" Extension in the "nRF Connect for VS Code Extension Pack". So the Update to version 1.6.2 solved the debugging Problem.

Yes, there seems to have been an issue when parsing the GDB version in Cortex-Debug 1.6.1.
