BLE mesh DFU using nRF Connect SDK

Hey, we are moving our projects from nRF5 SDK to nRF Connect SDK

Iam new to this SDK and Iam trying to add mesh features into the project, so I'm using Bluetooth mesh: Sensor server and client examples for demo

My question is whether there is any example for including BLE mesh DFU in nRF Connect SDK???

or is it possible to use the nRF5mesh SDK DFU in nRF Connect SDK????

Hi. 

There is no BLE Mesh DFU example code for nRF Connect SDK at this point in time, although we do want to add it in the future.

Unfortunately no. There is no compatibility between the nRF5 SDK DFU for Mesh solution and the nRF Connect SDK.

Oh okay,

So we cant even use the steps of implementing DFU Library given in nRF Connect SDK to implement in BLE Mesh examples right??

You may be able to implement something based on mcuboot, but I haven't tried this myself and I can not guarantee how well this work with BLE Mesh. 

I suggest that you contact your RSM and check if they have any information about if/when this will be supported in NCS.
