Check the device is still alive in the network?

Hi everyone,

I'd like to check DEVICES (Light switch server) is still alive in the BLE mesh network through GATEWAY (Serial example) but I don't know how to check it. Can I use available model in SIG or custom new model to check it.

You can take a look at the heartbeat model. That should be able to provide the functionality you are looking for.
