UART communication between nrf5340 and ESP32

Hi,

I am trying to send the data received over BLE from nrf5340 to ESP32 and then from ESP32 to nrf5340 using UART communication using below configuration.

nRF5340           esp32

P1.08 pin Rx----->    Tx 17pin

P1.09 pin  Tx ------>   Rx 16pin

I have tried to configure the peripheral_uart example but I i am not receiving any data from one board to another.

I am using nrf connect SDK V2.0.0.

Hello,

1. Could you attach a logic analyzer and check if you see any activity on the lines?
2. Do the chips have common ground?
3. Do you use the same baud rate on the esp32 and the nRF5340?

By referring to the uart_example, I am now able to establish the communication.
