Using the PPK2 on a Raspberry Pi

Hi.

I am currently working on a project where I need to measure the current/power consumption of a software running on a Rasberry PI mod 4 (RPI). The datasheet informs me that the RPI can draw up to 1.3A, so I have not ocnnected my PPK" directly. My idea is to create a simple current divider to to make sure i don't blow the PPK2, but I am unsure on what resistive values I should use.

Does anyone have a good advice on which R-values I should use, or any other way I can use the PPK2 for this purpose. I do have a USB dongle for measuring Wh and amps, but I would like to get more precise  readings (over time).

Thanks in advance
