can SWD pins be used as UART?

Hi all,

I think this question is generic and covers all Nordic chipsets. Anyhow, I'm planning to use a nRF52810 but I don't have a board to confirm this yet.

Question is:

It is possible to use SWD pins as UART?

Ref manual states that SWCLK can be Digital Input while SWDIO can be both Digital Input and Output.

Per our understanding, SWD does not support multiplexing as UART pin.

Hi Francesco,

As Zara Wu mentioned, the SWDCLK and SWDIO pins cannot be used for anything else and you can only use the Digital I/O pins mentioned in the Product Specification for the UART.
