The internal switch in nRF52840_DK isn't disconnecting the onboard antenna?

Hello everyone,

I'm new here, and new to using the Nordic boards.

I have a question regarding the RF connector in the nRF52840_DK.

I am trying to do some RF measurements with the development kit. I connected a wireless antenna through the RF connector to do research on the signal strength, but whenever I connect the antenna, the internal switch isn't disconnecting automatically, and the signal becomes unusable. I think it's causing a leak to the signal.

Is there a reason why the internal switch isn't disconnecting the onboard antenna?
And is there a way to disconnect it with code?

The used external antenna is " L-com 2.4 GHz 8 dBi Round Patch Antenna " , I am connecting it through a coaxial connector cable.

do you have a signal analyzer, so that you can check the signal strength of the conducted signal? 

Is not, can you try take a picture of the connector, so that I can try to see if it connected corrected to the DK?

I don't have a signal analyzer at hand, but I checked the signal strength through the program. The signal strength is normal but whenever I connect the antenna the signal strength goes wrong.
