Hello everyone and thanks to the Nordic team for a nice day in Stockholm.

Since the single cell tower localisation was very good compared to GPS, we discussed the energy cost of localisation via single cell tower or GPS. So hope we can find out!

This is not a straight forward answer when it comes to the network as there are a lot of settings to take into account. The simple answer is that A-GPS vs single/multi cell location services are almost the same, however, "piggybacking some cell measurements when you are sending data anyways, then you get it almost "for free" in terms of power consumption."

This week I'm traveling to Germany for the Nordic Tech Tour, but when I get back I will try to do some power measurements.
