nrf52840 peripheral UART example not compiling sdk5 v17.1.0

Im receiving the following errors when building the uart periperal example out the box. Im using Segger 5.6 but have also tried 6.3

Hi. I have just tried the UART Peripheral example with nRF5 SDK V17.1.0 and Segger Embedded Studio V5.60, and it worked.

I have noticed blcm_link_ctx_storage_t in your error messages is not in the untouched main.c file of the UART Peripheral example.

Could you please download a new copy of the SDK and try again? You can find the SDK in this link: https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF5_SDK/nRF5_SDK_v17.x.x/

Finally, to have an easier time with the nRF5 SDK, I recommend you to stick to Segger Embedded Studio V5.60 and not try V6.3.
It's actually best to use Segger Embedded Studio V5.42, which nRF5 SDK v17.1.0 was released with, and tested with, but V5.60 should also be OK. In Segger Embedded Studio V6.20a and later, there are changes in the toolchain that is incompatible with nRF5 SDK. You will need to make a number of modifications to the SDK then.
