5340 spi clock abnormal

hi support team,

customer reported one problem that when 5340 spi communication is done, the clock line is much longer than cs pin as below:

number2 is clock pin, and number4 is cs pin.

this is abnormal from our previous mcu, is there any reason for this?

Which SPI interface is the customer using? Is it SPIM4?

Which SPI implementation are they using, Zephyr or nrfx?

Could you please ask the customer to share his device tree configuration/overlay?

Which instance of SPIM are you using? Only SPIM4 supports HW control of CSN. See "Configuration" under Registers. If they are using one of the other instances, this is likely a software or nRF Connect SDK issue and not related to the HW.
