Generate binary for nrf52810 zephyr

Hi all.

After finishing some test I want to generate the binary for the MCU nrf52810 using zephyr. I have look in the zephyr folder and saw the zephyr.bin file. Is that the binary that zephyr generates? Just to make sure. Also if I wanted to flash this binary file in the 52 dk board using "drag and drop" for the binary but that does not work, that is why I'm asking if the binary is in that folder.

The short answer to your question is that zephyr.bin is the binary of the compiled application yes (it can also come in different format such as .elf or .hex), however it may be that build also contain other binaries that needs to be programmed (e.g. child images that run prior to starting your zephyr.bin application). Example a project can contain both the mcuboot (hello_world\build\mcuboot\zephyr\zephyr.bin) and app image (hello_world\build\zephyr\zephyr.bin) that needs to be programmed, or you can use the merged.hex instead.

Many thanks for your reply! Just one more question regarding this, if I select the 52dk_nrf52810 to build the project, then the binary generated will be for that device, right? I know that the nrf52810 is a variant from the nrf52832, but for testing we are using the 52dk with the nrf52832 with limited resources.
