Remove Sensors, do I need to update the SW ?

Hello, 

In order to reduce the consumption, I remove some sensors (physically from the board). 

Should I change the SW ? Is there any discovery state required that should be disabled ? 

Even supply with 3V3 from a source meter, I cannot discover my device and I have 7mA consumption. 

Can you help me there ?

Hello,

Yes you need to change in software when you remove the sensors. However, we need more information; what device you are using, is it our Development kit or a custom board?

Ok, I am using the THINGY:52 board. Is there some help I can get with the SW change ?

Hello Sarah,

Are you using nRF5 SDk or NCS? If it is NCS then you have to change the Device tree file to remove sensors. You can look at this DevAcdemy content about device tree overlays https://academy.nordicsemi.com/topic/configuration-files/ .
