How to do dfu of nrf52840 from raspberry pi 3b module?

Hi,

I am working with nrf52840 development kit and raspberry pi 3b module.

Using raspberry pi module i am able to scan and connect to nrf52840 development kit.

Now I want to do ble dfu of nrf52840 from raspberry pi.

Can anyone help me with an example and help me achieve this?

Which SDK are you using, nRF5SDK or NCS? What is the version?

yes nrf5SDK only, version 17.0.2

Hi, 

nRF util is really a python application, and I would think you can use it on the Raspberry Pi as long as you have all the requirements installed. You will also need to get an ARM build of the pc-ble-driver dependency to perform OTA DFU over BLE as the official release is only including x86 support. Please have a look at How to use Nrfutil for BLE DFU on Raspberry Pi .

Which method would you perform DFU, BLE, USB or UART? Please note that the command to perform OTA DFU via BLE, USB and UART are different. 

DFU over Bluetooth LE, 
DFU over a serial UART connection
DFU over a serial USB connection
