I'm learning that there are issues with the early "engineering versions" of the nRF52840, identified with QIAAAA marking.

Apparently the SPI3 BUS is not fully supported.

Can anyone confirm that this is true please ?

I'm not sure what issue you're referring to specifically, but we have a full list of known issues (Errata) on the Infocenter. As far as I know and from what I can find, there isn't a specific issue with the SPI3 on early versions of the Development kit, but rather a fixed anomaly (145) that was fixed between engineering version A and B where SPIM3 was not functional. So all versions after the following should have a working SPIM3.
