Question about nRF Connect Desktop latest version

Dear Customer Service,

 

Recently, I updated nRF Connect Desktop to latest version.

After that, nRF Connect Desktop App works, however “Power Profiler” doesn’t work.

Other daughter Apps (e.g. Bluetooth Low Energy, Direct Test Mode, etc.)   also don’t start and work.

 

I try version 3.11.1, Power Profiler does work. 

Do you have any problem with latest version now?

Would you tell me some information on the above problem?

I had a similar issue when I updated nRF Connect for Desktop recently, but after I closed the application and restarted it the issue was gone.

Is the issue persistent for you?

I tried rebooting and reinstalling several times.

However, this problem has not been resolved.

What is the install path of your nrfconnect folder?

Does it contain any special characters?

The installation path is shown below.

"C:\Users\熱XX X\AppData\Local\Programs\nrfconnect\nRF Connect for Desktop.exe"

I see, a similar case was reported by another user with a special character in their username, and this issue is currently being worked on.

In the meantime, a temporary fix could be to move your "nrfconnect" folder to C:\Program Files (x86)\ for example
