Thingy:53 Flash files needed for nRF Programmer after a VS Code successful build.

I have successfully built my project in VS-code for the Thingy:53. Because I don't Have a debug probe I cannot flash the firmware from VS-CODE. What are the files that need to be in the ZIP file that nRF Programmer needs, so I can flash my firmware to the Thingy:53?

Hi,

It is recommended to use external debugger. You could use external J-Link debugger or for example nRF5340-dk as a debugger to flash your application. The file name which you should use in this case is merged_domains.hex. Alternatively, you could perform firmware update using MCUBoot bootloader and use dfu_application.zip file. You can read more about updating firmware image in the documentation.

I do not have a nrRF5340-dk . I do have a nrf9160-dk but, it's confirmed that nRF9160 cannot be used as an external debug probe....
