hi team,

i am using  Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise OS and Segger 5.40 version IDE.

i am using nrf52840 device in my project along with  nrf5_SDK for uart peripheral check.

i am seeing uart output in putty and segger terminal emulator also.but i unable to see uart output in debugg terminal.

Hi there,

The debug terminal in SES only outputs logs that use the RTT backend, not UART backend. If you want logs to be printed to the debug terminal in SES then you would have to change the logger backend to RTT instead of UART in the project sdk_config.h file.

Can you guide how to change that RTT backend.because in my SDK_config.h file i gone through CMSIS configure wizard.their also RTT logger  not showing.even i installed J link RTT software also.still RTT setting not showing anywhere in sdk_config.h file

Note, that this will only output the LOG info. It will not change where the printf uart serial data is printed. The debug terminal only supports RTT which use the SWD protocol, uart is not supported.
