nRF52832 DC/DC vs. efficiency for given supply current

I was wondering if there was any documentation (graph or otherwise) that shows the efficiency of the DC/DC converter vs. supply current.

The product spec describes the nRF52 switching between the DC/DC and LDO when the former is not efficient, but I'd like to know at what current this would occur and if there are operating modes where teh DC/DC wouldn't run (e.g. sleep, standby, etc). Thanks very much.

Hi,

Unfortunately, we don't have any plots that shows the efficiency vs supply current. But generally, the DC/DC will be used when enabled if the CPU is using a device that use the HF Clock. The HF clock use considerably more current then any other peripheral that doesn't use it. You can therefore assume that any current consumption over 200 µA is using HF clock and thus DC/DC regulator if enabled.
