Reverting nRF52840 firmware from programmed nRF Sniffer to Original Dongle Firmware

Hi,

I have a nRF52840 Dongle programmed as nRF Sniffer using nRF Connect Desktop - Programmer. But I would like to revert back to the original nRF52840 dongle firmware but it failed. It returned the error "Error when fetching device versions: readFwInfo error (Origin: "Error when starting nrfdl_fw_read_info")" when I am trying to select the device on the Programmer.

Hi,

You need to put the dongle in bootloader mode in order to program it. To do so, press the reset button (the one that is sideways next to SW1 button):

When the dongle is in bootloader mode, LED2 will blink red and the dongle should show up as 'Open DFU Bootloader' or something similar in the Programmer app:

Hey do you mind sharing where you got the original dongle firmware? I am having trouble finding it, I did the same exact think and cannot revert because I cannot find the original firmware please and Thank You if you ever read this !
