Custom Matter Clusters

Hi, I have just started looking at integrating Matter in my devices and am looking to measure voltage. However, there is no cluster under the matter clusters that matches my need. Can I just create a custom cluster or do I need to wait for matter to implement the cluster eventually?

Thank you for the quick response. I have read the doc and looked at the ZAP tool. The cluster I want is int he ZAP tool but not listed as a matter cluster.  How to create a custom cluster for Matter device and how to use the Simple Metering cluster In this forum answer, it is stated that a custom cluster won't be supported by official matter controller, is that correct?

Hi Nathan,

What is the cluster that you want specifically? (that you see in the ZAP tool).

Whether the custom cluster will be supported or not depends on Matter Specification and maybe you could try contacting the Matter group regarding this.
