Is it possible to connect the Thingy53 over Bluetooth with Raspberry and store the sensor data in a database?

Hi,

Is it possible to connect the Thingy53 over Bluetooth with Raspberry and store the sensor data in a database (e.g. Firestore).

I only found one solution, but its for the Thingy52 and very old ( Nordic Thingy:52 node.js/Raspberry Pi demos )

Has anyone done this recently and can help me?

Hi

Yes, it is indeed possible to connect the Thingy:53 to a Raspberry Pi. Unfortunately we don't have any official samples doing exactly this like the one you linked to for the Thingy:52.

You should be able to use the same Raspberry solution as in that sample though, and then you can check out the getting started guide for the Thingy:53 available here.  If the raspberry Pi scans and is able to connect to just any advertising device it should not be a problem at all.
