The mentioned known issue needs a workaround requiring a soft reset. This is quite a bruteforce method and I can't believe this hasn't been fixed already. Quite an important part of ZigBee. Also, resetting and rejoining significantly increases the average current consumption.
Either be more clear about this required workaround in your examples, or fix it in the next release. Lost way too much time on this issue.
