Hi, after installation the nRF Connect for VS Code Extension Pack (guided by the Video from Nordic), I can not see the Welcome Icon on the left side:

I restarted VS Code several times!

Hello, can you provide more information about what OS you are using, and what version of VS Code you are using? Are you able to open command palette and run nRF Connect: Generate Support Information?
