Has anybody in the community had any luck in getting the NRF9160 Dev Kit connected to any of the LTE services in India?

You will need to use an Nb-IoT Sim card from Jio: https://www.gsma.com/iot/deployment-map/#PL  For more information regarding this, you could reach out to your Regional Sales Manager(RSM).. Please let me know in case you need contact info of your RSM..
