nrf52832 NFC for payment purpose

This question was asked before here a year ago, but I couldn't really find a definitive answer in the thread

Is there any reason why I would not be able, technically, to implement NFC for a payment application (ISO 14443) over the nRF52832 ?

The NFC in the NRF52832 only supports the "unpowered" side.

Thus you could play the role as "the card" but not be the card reader.
