Hello Nordic Team,
Initially, I used nrf9160 - dk flashed with modemShell application (nrf sample project) to make LTE connection with NRF cloud but couldn't be successful in this task. So I decided to use at_client sample application for testing and debugging purpose using LTE Monitor. I executed some of the AT commands and got the expected response except the the "Network Registration Command" (AT + CEREG? ) the response of which is always +CEREG: 5, 4 where value 4 indicates Unknown (for example, out of E-UTRAN coverage) as I checked from the AT command manual https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/pdf/nrf91_at_commands_v1.7.pdf .
My question is why I am getting this response , I have executed the same command multiple times after some gaps. As per my understanding in response + CEREG: 5, 4 the value 4 should be replaced with 1 (Registerd, Home Network) after some time which is not happening in my case. Kindly note that my current location is Islamabad, Pakistan and I am using
Telecom Operator Provided SIM "Zong" which is 4G supported having Internet MBs as well. The same SIM is working fine on my Phone
