How Pairing/Connection happens in nRF5340 Audio DK

Hi,

How does pairing and connection happens in nRF5340 Audio DK? I have 3 DK.

While building SW, I configure json file with the 3 DK's product code and then flash in all 3 DK's. On turning ON the DK, all 3 gets connected automatically.

How does it happen?
How can I overwrite this logic such that pairing happens only on some specific request?
Is it possible to pair classic Bluetooth this DK? If so how? DK's bluetooth is not discoverable
Is it possible to connect external BLE device to DK? If so how? DK's bluetooth is not discoverable

If any of above 2 is possible, then is it possible for a external device to transmit audio to gateway DK and gateway DK broadcasts it at the same time?

No, the DK is Bluetooth LE only.

In the new Bluetooth Audio, both connection based and broadcast audio is possible. Our Bluetooth Audio experts have left for the day, but I will get back to you tomorrow with pointers and/or details for how to set up the various supported connections.

Hi,

The nRF5340 Audio application documentation covers many use cases, and gives information about the different types of streams and connections including the required configurations. I highly recommend studying it. One of my colleagues will follow up on this case from tomorrow.

Hi,

Which external BLE device would you like to connect to the nRF5340 audio DK and how? Would you, for example, use nRF5340 audio DK as CIS gateway which you would then connect to LE audio device from another vendor?
