nRF Connect for Desktop Bluetooth Low Energy Standalone v4.0.0 - wrong server configuration

Hello,

I need to configure server parameters in the "Bluetooth Low Energy Standalone v4.0.0" PC application used with nRF52840 dongle.

I configured Device Name as Read only:

saved, applied to the device and started advertiisements. It is displayed as Read only:

But when scanning such configured nRF52840 dongle using BTool from Texas Intsruments it shows the name is Read Write intead of Read only:

I verified it with second nRF52840 dongle and the result is the same - Read Write instead of Read only:

Is there any bug in the "Bluetooth Low Energy Standalone v4.0.0" or I am doing something wrong?

The team said it looks like a bug. A device should be able to have device name set to read only.

We, unfortunately, do not have a quick fix for this at the moment.

I noticed similar discrepancy also in Peripheral Preferred Connection Parameters:

When correcting that bug, please take care also about other attributes.

Are you able to tell when that bug can be fixed?
