running ZigBee app example on nRF52820 - SDK 2.1.1 example images are too large

Your SDK 2.1.1 ZigBee Light example image size is large, 360996 B - That will not fit on the nRF52820.

This is probably why that chip is not included in the supported boards list, for that example project.

I would like to know if it is possible to run a ZigBee light application on the nrF52820, using some other SDK, some other RTOS, or without an RTOS.

I would like to know if Nordic can supply an example project that demonstrates ZigBee in general, or ZigBee light in particular, that can run on the nRF52820.

Hi,

You will not be able to get any of the Zigbee examples to run on nRF52820. There are ways to optimize applications for memory footprint, but even with this you will not be able to reduce the size enough for it to fit on nRF52820. This is true for the old SDK, nRF5 SDK, as well.
