Scan Extended Advertising with Nrf Connect Desktop

Hi,

I am develloping a solution with an extended advertising.

In order to see the advertising, I am using either the nrf connect mobile APP, either Nrf Connect Desktop with PCA10059 or PCA10100.

With a compatible mobile, it's working well with nrf connect mobile APP, but impossible to manage extended advertising with nrf connect Desktop.

There are something i am mising ? Like configuration or something else ?

Hi Julien,

nRF Connect for Desktop does not support extended advertising. This is not likely to change in the near future.

So bad... And is there any example of the SDK in order to enable scanning extended advertising ?

There are some central examples that scan for extended advertising packets. The first that comes to mind is Bluetooth: Central Heart Rate Monitor with Coded PHY, which scans on coded PHY. They key parts here is the bt_le_scan_param instance and that CONFIG_BT_CTLR_ADV_EXT=y is set in prj.conf.
