Enable accelerometer in nRF cloud

Hi there,

I have a Thingy:91 board and I would like to enable the accelerometer data to be sent to nRF cloud when using the Asset tracker v2 application. I saw that it is not enabled by default in the application documentation here. I also see the json cloud schemas here but don't see one for accelerometer. Would it be possible to add this feature to the application?

Hello

In the Asset Tracker v2 application, the accelerometer is only used to detect whether there is movement as a binary state. In order to send accelerometer data to the cloud, you would have to add this to the application yourself, but there is no reason it should not be possible.

There is a basic accelerometer sample in Zephyr, that is probably a good place to start:
