15nH Inductor Package Size

Hello,

I am planning on using a 0201 15nH shielded inductor instead of the 0402-size listed on the schematic for the nRF52832.

Hi Jorge

Inductors (coils) are more sensitive when it comes to size, and might have some varying characteristics even though rated to the same H.

It could work with smaller package sizes but is likely to be (for example) more temperature sensitive. The link you provided results in a 404 on my end, but I think I found the link here: https://www.venkel.com/inductors/low-value-multilayer/lmci0201-15njt It has a better tolerance% rating, so that should help, and I think this inductor should work, but we do recommend a 0402 package. This for example is the one we use on our development kits.
