register masking

we are triying to enable and disable timer register for our programe.how can we do this register level bit masking in nrf52840DK board without library API. kindly share one small application

example.

we are using segger ide vs 5.40 and windows 10 OS and nrf52840DK board.

Which SDK are you using.? The nRF 5 SDK or the nRF Connect SDK:?
