DT_ALIAS(ctrl0) looks for a node with the alias ctrl0, but in the code you've shared you have not defined any alias.

Try using DT_NODELABEL(ctrl0) instead.

Disregard my previous comment, the spaces are not a problem.

The problem is that the binding you have specified (gpio-ctrl) is not defined. If you choose another binding, like for example gpio-leds, your code compiles.

So you will have to either find a suitable predefined binding that suits what you are trying to achieve:
