How to add value to Eddystone on nrf51-DK ?

As a developer what are the various things that can be used to modify the existing code from google Eddystone( to be implemented on nrf51-DK)? Google have implemented most of the stuff with uuid/url/telemetry, but what all enhancements on the current code?

I believe all API's are to be implemented on javascript or app, but not embedded code because it works just fine on nrf51-DK
