Software Code Porting

Hello,

My questions is very simple but I found many trouble during the procedure.

I would like to export my project (created con VSCode) from my PC to antother one and I found many issue due to paths without any result.

Is there some guideline that permit to peform the porting procedure?

Someone knows what are the path that I have to update and where I can find it in the tool?

Hi,

Which files are you moving to the second PC? You should be able to move all the files in your project folder except the .vscode folder and build folder, then add the project in the nRF Connect extension in VS Code.

Hello,

I would like to move the whole project in another pc . So, Is it possible or can I move only the .c and .h files?

Because, in the past I tried to move a sample project (e.g. HelloWorld) but I counterd issue on :

- Workspace path directory

- 'ncs' path directory

Then, I would like to know where and how I can change the paths.

You can move all the files that have not been added to the project by VS Code, so do not move the .vscode folder, the build folder, or the *.code-workspace file (hello_world.code-workspace). These files will be recreated by VS Code on the new computer, with the correct paths etc.

Could you show me all the files you are moving? Then I will be able to tell you which files are causing the problem.
