some product using 52832 as central mode

hi devzone.

I have commercial product(led light receiver) which has nRF52832 chip and is running as central mode.

I install 'nRF connect for mobile' in my android phone.

while product which has nRF52832 works, I assume it is running as central mode, and I want to scan and check nRF52832 chip using my phone and app "nRF connect for mobile".

would I do that...?

  • Hello,

If the nRF52832 is running in central mode it is in fact the nRF52832 that will need to scan your phone, to establish a connection. So you will need to set your phone up for advertising with criterias that match what the nRF52832 will be looking for, such as advertised UUID/name/data.
You can do this in the 'advertiser' pane of the nRF Connect for smartphones applications.

    Best regards,
