Building a new project using TensorFlow Lite for Thingy:53 Microcontrollers

Hello,

So, I am struggling here with my project.

I need to build a custom project using TensorFlow Lite for Thingy:53 Microcontrollers.

So far,

1. I have converted the .tflite > .cc file as mentioned here in this page: https://www.tensorflow.org/lite/microcontrollers/build_convert.
2. Now I need to build the project for THingy:53.
3. Also, need to add libraries for the project.

Can you please suggest is there any documentation or reference video provided for customized projects?

I tried to follow the path as mentioned here,

And I was trying to follow the below procedure to create libraries:

 in both the scenarios this is the error:

I am not sure where is the problem.

Could you please help me to resolve this problem?

Hi,

So the easiest way to do this would be to use EdgeImpulse, should provide the best experience and should also provide similar features and results. There is also webinars like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7Esy1uWhpQ 

If you want to do the TF lite way then there are some hurdles I presume and I have not tested this with the nRF53.

But in general it looks like you are on the right path to get it working. The issue seems to be a path related so either you don't have all the libraries you need or some path is wrong.

So the method here https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/nordic/nordic-blog/b/blog/posts/nrf-tensorflow-support should be ok. 

And i also have this project that went stale: https://github.com/nicknameBOB/TF_NCS_dev , it does work on both the Thingy91 and the Thingy52, atleat the hello world part. 


But my guess is that you might miss this "make -f tensorflow/lite/micro/tools/make/Makefile third_party_downloads" but i am not sure,  its been a while since i tested this.

1. For my project I do not want to use Edge Impulse as I want to make my own model, train it then want to make tfLite file from it, Which I am successful to do it so far.]

 And was suggested that  not to use that as it is a “outdated guide”. So, I started following this video:

3. For now I am trying for this Hello_world example:

While building this example I have faced this issue:

When I searched for the solution for this issue, I have found one work around as mentioned here:

So, as mentioned here I have tried to understand that it needs 4 more third party libraries.

So after changing the work around in the library, I have found the below mentioned error while updating west.

And ask for details in runtime for civetweb and for tflite-micro:

I am not sure how to update these two repositories in the file to make my sample hello_world work as mentioned in the video.

Could you please help me out to solve this problem?

but even after that I am facing issue while building the project.

Hi,

I would start by trying to get ride of the first warning. Try to follow links here and find out why CONFIG_TENSORFLOW_LITE_MICRO is not being set.
