ZAP Tool trouble on ncs v2.1.2

Hi,

I am developing a Matter device using ZAP Tool for the data model configuration.

I started with the nRF Connect SDK v2.1.0, now i passed to the last released v2.1.2 and i noticed that when i run ZAP Tool from matter repository under /modules/lib/matter of that version the Commands part do not show up.

I also tried to reinstall both SDK versions but the same happened.

Here i attach a couple of screenshots of your light_bulb sample from the two SDK versions.

1) ncs v.2.1.0

2) ncs v2.1.2

Hello Luca,

This is a known issue which is fixed on the main branch of NCS.

To use the fix, follow these instructions:

cd <ncs_install_dir>/modules/lib/matter
git -C third_party/zap/repo/ checkout -f 2ae226
git add third_party/zap/repo/

If you get build errors after applying the fix, remove your .zap folder and rerun ZAP tool.

Even I am Facing this issue I am using SDK 2.5.0 I am getting the following error while executing the above commands, Please help me in fixing the issue

Note that this thread is over one year old and the fix was included in NCS v2.2.0. Executing the same commands for NCS v2.5.0 will result in an error because the commit you try to check out is already a part of NCS 2.5.0.

Please describe in more detail which errors you are seeing.
