52840 SCH Review

We plan to use the 52840 to make a module with an external flash, if we apply the QSPI peripheral, must we use the P0.23,P1.00,P0.21,P0.25,P0.19 pins recommended in the specification?
1. because I see the detasheet 6.19.10.19-6.19.10.24 shows RW PIN[0..31], does this mean that each pin can be configured as QSPI?
2. please help me to check the schematic design reasonableness, is it OK to choose these pins for QSPI?

  • Hi,

Any of the pins not labeled "Standard drive, low frequency I/O only" can be used for QSPI. If the QSPI peripheral is not used simultaneously as the radio any of the pins can be used.

    2. please help me to check the schematic design reasonableness, is it OK to choose these pins for QSPI?

The pins used for QSPI in the schematic is OK to use.

C14 and C15 must be changed to 1uF, other than this the schematic looks good.

    Best regards,
