SoftDevice API to access RNG hardware peripheral

Hello Nordic Team,

While going through this page on peripherals used by Softdevice https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/sds_s140/SDS/s1xx/sd_resource_reqs/hw_block_interrupt_vector.html, it is mentioned that peripheral with Restricted access type can only be accessed through SoftDevice API. 

I would like to use RNG module, which has restricted access. However, I was unable to find the SoftDevice API to access RNG module. Could you please let me know how my application can access this module when SoftDevice is enabled?

Hi

The sd_rand_ functions found here lets the SoftDevice use the RNG peripheral to generate true non-deterministic random numbers. Alternatively the RNG module in the crypto frontend modules can be used in order to use the CryptoCell CC310 cryptographic subsystem.
