Network size (Amount of Clients) possible with bluetooth 4.0

Hi,

I'm looking for a wireless solution to handle 500-1000 of Clients per area. Because i',m new to Bluetooth i don't know if this is possible.

Requirements: Network Size >10000 Slaves Client Area Buildings with up to 10000m2

there will be more then one Master nodes in the area. (the amount of Master nodes are open) so it could be 500-1000 Slaves clients per Master node.

99.9% of the time will be control signals if the slaves clients are active.

is there a possibility to use Bluetooth or should i use zigbee?

Bluetooth currently doesn't support any kind of mesh topologies, so it isn't really feasible to create a network as such based on it.

i didn't know exactly if the new BT 4.0 standard will support this.
